Dear Brian, That is certainly something to ponder. I think that after the infatuation period is over, I would look at the qualities she has. Are they desirable qualities you would want in a partner? If so, I would continue the relationship. I think that most relationships won’t maintain a constant high that’s found in the infatuation period. I wish you good mental health. Regards, Sandy
